The Quality of Pandora

In tough economic times, it is tempting to buy the knock-off version of your favorite designer so that you can still look the part of the fashionista, without breaking the bank; however, there is definitely something to be said for the quality of the real deal. Whether we're talking Manolo heels, $200 jeans, or Pandora beads, there is no way to beat the real thing.

It has come to my attention recently that there are a few other bead brands that are compatible with Pandora beads. For the casual collector, those might be acceptable substitutes. I know, however, that Yaya's customers want quality jewelry that is going to last a lifetime.

Would you really want to give an impostor bead to your niece on her Confirmation or to your sister on her wedding day? Didn't think so. That is why we only sell genuine Pandora beads and charms.

Click the links to see our great selection of Pandora charms, and you'll surely be glad you chose Yaya's for your purchase.

Inspiration!

I’ve been hearing a lot about Pandora lately, and it seems that the jewelry has a cult-like group of followers. I mean that in the best way possible, of course! People don’t just wear Pandora because they think it’s pretty or fun, they wear it because it becomes so personal and unique.

I met a woman at a holiday party this weekend who has a story for every single bead on her bracelet. She had a green Murano glass bead from a friend who wished her fortune in her new job, a blue Murano glass bead from her sister-in-law who wished her peace and tranquility on her birthday one year, a gold pink-ribbon dangle bead in honor of her mother who died from breast cancer, a gold heart bead in honor of her wedding, a silver angel bead for a pregnancy that ended in miscarriage, a silver baby carriage bead and a silver boy bead for her son’s birth, a tiny silver house bead for the first house she and her husband purchased together…the list went on. I was touched by the fact that she remembered every single bead’s origin and meaning, and she was so thrilled by her bracelet that she had started one for her daughter, with a sapphire birthstone bead and an initial bead. She was planning to give her daughter a special bead for each new milestone- first birthday, first day of kindergarten, first lost tooth.

Inspired to start your own bracelet yet? I was…so here’s to a great Christmas 2008, a snowy December, and my first Pandora beads (below). Check out the best selection of Pandora Charms at shopyayas.com to start your bracelet today, and click here to email us your Pandora bracelet story to share in an upcoming post.
